Anyone try or own a Realgear brand welder? I was at my local ATS supply and they have some good prices.
I was going to take a MIG class but it got changed to TIG. And I saw I can get a TIG for $700. I can use it for stick, though it says DC only, so it may be better than a MIG and a tombstone.
I have no experience but want to practice. I've got some trailer repairs to do. I have an old car that has rust and some general other stuff.
Should I start on a TIG? or wait till a MIG class comes along?

My brother has one of their migs that my dad bought years ago. Cant speak for their tigs but the mig has worked fine. I believe the welding shop said it was a copy of a lincoln.
