Where: Ute Pass Cultural Center (210 W. Midland Ave.) in Woodland Park
Why: bid farewell to the legend, Ranger Rick Ellsworth!

Pictures from the dinner social; there were 40-50 people present when I arrived, so I was happy that there was a good crowd. I spoke with Rick for a while and took some photos of his memorabilia which was displayed on tables and poster-boards. He had USFS pocket calendars for almost every year of his career (he said one or two was lost, or washed in the laundry, LOL). Tons of photos from activities over the decades; it was a neat display.
