So my wife suprised me with this ram air kit today. The instructions say I am supposed to drill this big ass hole in order to connect it to the air intake hose in the engine bay. Can anyone help me with this? I have not seen one like it and also don't have the big drill bit. If you have one big enough, can I borrow it? Better yet I need to borrow some work space since we are moving to downtown LA on Tuesday and I will have zero space to work for a while. Can anyone help me for beer and food? Here are some pics of what I am talking about:

Good one Smitty!
Thought you got a Boss? as a going home present.

Can someone please help this guy before he leaves us! Stat!
I mean - it actually rains in the Southeastern seaboard and a snorkle is a must!

Congrats on the snorkel. I will be happy to drill the hole in the center of your hood for you if you need the help. :flipoff2:

A shaker hood on an 80 would definitely be a first.

Here she is in all her glory! This would make a nice house down payment!

I bet you would! I would have to make sure you plenty of  first!

I have the drill bit dude, let me know if i can be any assistance dude. Seriously.

I'll be working on the rig manyana.

Thanks Dave! I am very busy this weekend and into next week. Knee Surgery next Friday. I could be off my feet for a week or a month (depends on what Doc must do when he gets into the knee) I would love your help when the time comes around. I really will need som space to do it too. You know any good parking lots? I have an affinity for Home Depot ! LOL!

That's funny you mention home depot. I installed mine behind a home depot lol

Anytime, just as long as we aren't gone on a trip. We can do it down at my work. Plenty of space. Not to mention i might be the owner of the company soon. We can wrench all day long now and turn the place into a full blown shop lol

Im off to change my diff fluid, finish up a few things on the rig and possibly wax it. Talk to ya later.

.

Congrats on the possible business venture!

And since you offered all day, I will add fan clutch, install extreme aire compressor, and clean/maintain u-joints to the list!

Seriously it would be awesome to get all that done in one day!

I should be able to do it all (except snorkel) by myself so I would not be needing (would not turn down) any help for most of the day. Just don't want it to turn into everyone work on Smitty's rig day. Ideally we could have muliple rigs being worked on while we bantar back and forth.

Dave has already chimed in - he has the big drill bit and the step bit for the smaller holes.

Have Mo show up to remove the antenna motor. Made the install a breeze thanks to his handy work.

TRUST THE TEMPLATE!

Congrats!!!
