So, I took the new LC to the Sierras for some outdoor adventure time. Went with a group of guys and took my 15 year old son on his first "guys fishing trip". It was a blast. We hit up the natural hot springs, fished all day, and of course took on some trails.

This thing handled way better that I'd expected, especially as a noob driver. Best quote of the trip was my buddy Jordan, who'd just bought a Jeep, saying "man, I wish I'd bought a Land Cruiser instead."

Good fishing, great times, and the beast got dirty for the first time.

Yes, the running boards are going away asap. 2.5" OME lift comes in two weeks, then sliders to replace the boards.

Enjoy the pics!

That last pic made me uncomfortable.

Seriously though, looks like a great trip.

Curious to know, if you are willing to share, location of tub ?

I spent the weekend South of Gardnerville chasing trails along the Carson river and looking for natural tub locations. Found a few of both.....

Thanks !

Yeah sure they aren’t secret spots. This tub was right off Benton Crossing Road south of Mammoth. The other one near Bridgeport was called Traverine Hot springs and is well marked. I’ll get more detailed directions and PM you.
