HeyWayne BJ73..
The easiest way to check how far out your speedo is with big tiers, is to use a GPS unit on a nice straight, flat stretch of road. set it to give travel info, it should give speed among other things. I have two in my truck one was installed in the dash. The other is a hand held that I keepin the glove box for out of truck use.
If you do not have one borrow one from a freiend..It is real time info..You will know within minutes how far out your speedo is.
I put new tiers on my truck and found that my speedo was now out by 5k/h. in just 5 minutes of leaving the shop.
Saves all those calculations..

Another way is if you have a section of highway that has the lines on it for a 10k distance, marked out every Kilometer. We have that in different places around Canada for checking your odo.
