@binaryaudax reviving an old thread, but one of my climate buttons is broken. You reckon I can source something from e.g. digikey and replace it? I imagine you might have some insights given what you did with this mod.

Its possible, but I don't know what the button style is on the climate control unit off hand.

I have heard you can send these old units into an car electronics / audio electronics refurbishing shop and get the contacts cleaned and restored on the buttons. this was in regard to radio buttons but for similar era cars. apparently that's usually what goes "bad" but they're not truly broken.
