Yes the sm420 was ground on and fitted, i also picked up a sm465 with a aa adapter,

Had a little delay had to do some work on my daily driver, both passenger doors painted replaced. Now back to the fj40

Haven't updated in a while here are the bib and hardtop sides, took a bunch of stuff to be sandblasted..

Had a ok hard top but the bottom drip rail was pitted and had holes . So the bottom for the hard top side came from Josh at Cruiser Innovations. Dont worry the it was about the only thing on that hardtop side worth saving.

here are some pix of the rear sill, did this a while back just never posted any pix.. its 2 1/2 boxed 2 1/4 would have been better but local steel didn't have any unless I wanted to by a 20ft stick...

Working on the tub and chassis right now. welding up holes in the dash and putting in the 2x3 rockers.. will take some pix when i finish..
