Hello All.
I have a 1995.5 Taco with a OME lift installed.
When i installed the lift late last year, i had to replace my factory bumpstops due to one of them being mostly separated from the mounting plate.
So rather than mess raising the factory mounts i decided to upgrade to Energy polyurethane. I installed there model 9-9143, 3.123" tall universals.
Checking the truck today i noticed the poly bumpstop on the drivers side is gone, separated from the mounting plate
Not happy. This happened within the last 2 weeks or so.
The mounting plate is rusty. My guess, the plate started to rust, between the urethane and the steel, causing it to separate.
Checking their website it looks like there should be a 2 year warranty (lucky me i think i lost my receipt), and it sounds like they have to send the mount back to the factory for inspection
I hope to see my dealer tomorrow, but im wondering if anyone else has had issues with Energy products, and how was it handled?
Thanks for any advice (besides holding onto receipts better
