Well I was wondering if there was a adapter that allows you to use your stock landcrusier alternator on the SBC 350. I would like to use my stock for ease of wiring. Also curious of a good electric fan that will mount up pretty close.Any info is nice thanks.
Thanks,

There isn't anything much easier than a 1 wire GM alternator. I got mine from summit racing, 100 amp for around 80 bucks. 1 wire from the post on the alternator to the positive post on the battery and you're done.;)

As for the elec. fan:
Ford Taurus fans work very well with SBC's. You want the 3 wire one. Do a search there are many threads on which years and what else you'll need like a locations, clearance required, good constant duty relay, temp sensing options, remote cut-off switch, etc.

x2 on that one i just use a 160 amp instead.
and 4gage wire just cuz.

I dont think that I want to buy the gm alternator bracket. I want to use a bracket that is going to keep my original alternator. That bracket is a pain in the butt to order and get ahold of.
If anyone knows where to get one cheap or where to find one that keeps the stock please let me know.

I got my alt and power steering bracket at the pick and pull. I could not get the pump off the bracket with the tools I brought, so I got that also. All that for $10.
good luck
