Is that your M1919? Very cool.Nothing much accomplished on any vehicles, but did commemorate the 80th Overlord/D-Day anniversary this weekend by touching off some 1942-1944 iron.

I was at Precision Gun Works in Nanjemoy a few weeks ago, and a customer brought a M1919 in while I was there for repair. You may want to try the owner, Curtis, for your part.Yes. Keeping my eyes out for a transferable side plate to pop up at reasonable price and have it rebuilt in full glory, but little hope of that.
It runs great as a semi auto though being a closed bolt gun from the start. Mix of original GI and Israeli reworked parts and in .30-06.
Years ago I bought 2 1919 parts kits from Ohio gun works at a gun show ( back when they used to be worth going to ) and put them away. Last year I found them and looked them up online. I would be wealthy of I had bought all they had that day.Yes. Looks great to me! Nice work!nice console cover @TRDdrew! For as long as I have owned this HJ61, there was a 24v/12v power inverter mounted in the glove box that just tore up the factory fiber board insert. While I was cleaning up dash wiring during my new carpet project, I removed the tattered insert and decided to make a replacement because I can't spend $400 on one of the custom ones that I see on Mud. I like them, but it's a glove box, you know? Admittedly, my fabrication is not nearly as nice, but it cost me a fraction to make and now my glove box actually opens AND closes properly, and you can actually put some stuff in it. I am happy with my creation. View attachment 3653537 View attachment 3653536View attachment 3653535View attachment 3653534
You have some projects! I've been very happy with Eastwood paint products...they have a retail store in Severna Park, MD, about 20 minutes from me or do mail order. Great rattle can primers, top coats, and clears...they actually do a 2 part in a rattle can that works great too...kind of like the japanese sodas, you have to pop the end to release the 2 part in the can. May be worth a look, but up to you of course. My Coastal Offroad rear swingout kit arrived, should be welded and installed by the end of the month. I'm thinking of just buying some Rustoleum primer, 6-8 rattle cans, maybe some clear coat, then doing a quick backyard job. When I resprayed my front grille, it didn't end up perfect up close, but the truck is always going to be a 10-footer so I don't think it'll matter that much.
Also have to get cracking on the AHC refresh... I thought I had all the parts, but now I think I want to replace the rear springs and front/rear bump stops as well.
