However, I just ordered the SnapUps to give them a try. Man, $12 is pretty expensive for 4 small pieces of plastic. But everyone raves about them, so...

Nope, reusable. They screw right in to the block. That lip holds the gasket and if you use enough of them, the pan too. I used 4 on each side of my 40 pan and it held both fine.Single use?
That's the plan. There is so much garbage in those bolt holes, it is going to be a project unto itself. These were in my oil pan install post. I’d recommend first running a 8x1.25 mm tap through the threads to ease screw in/out of the plastic snap up. They can twist if they encounter any thread glop. I use 8 of them for super easy install. When screwing in pan bolts, use circular pattern starting from center out - only 7 ft/lbs. Better yet, get an inch/lb torque wrench for the ~84 inch/lbs. Don’t forget the blob of sealant in the corners by the saddle base.
Looks good!Found one! The unicorn of early 80 series interior parts. 91-94 none airbag passenger grab handle in BROWN!! I'm not excited at all. Install was easy but nerve racking putting holes in my perfect dash lol

Man, I thought mine was a bit of a unicorn! Looks great and i agree, not fun poking holes in a perfect dash, but I really appreciate the overall design that makes for a very nice fit and finish once installed.Found one! Toss some Maine tags on it and call it a day, dont let MD take anymore of your money lolGot my trailer brake lines done…new shocks, lighting wiring, and bearing pack, time for inspection! And 50+ year old Snap On flare tool still getting it done…this was from my dad’s service station and part of my tool inheritance when he retired 20+ years ago.
Got my ZF TOYOBD1 Bluetooth box all hooked up today, it’s nice to have a true temp reading (ECT on the monitor) that also has an overheating alarm…

@captainva so far so good. I use apple stuff, so I went the small tablet route for monitoring. I hope to drive more this weekend and also to the Wednesday meeting if weather is decent for some additional miles. Got a 5g tablet now to try with map programs to see if it will run in the background for road trips and trail monitoring, should have that set this weekend and will report back! No brainer to me to grab while still available.@CrabCake how do you like this so far? Strongly considering buying one
