Looks like a great time...make sure you get that right back here by End of August! Damn sway bars...I'm working on the anti rock sway ba to keep it up and out of the wayr to delete the stock one. And I'm 1/2 side flare delete... And yes they still look good!

Solid shout out for the long term use of the Amazon rip off air compressor. I bought it for the 40 but he get used a lot for big tires. This backhoe needs tubes put in the tires but for $800 a tire for them to do that. I’m OK running the air compressor once a week to fill a tire up for almost 2 years this air compressor has done its job and filled up big tires running continuously for 15 to 18 minutes to fill that tire up. No issues.

LOL, yes! Amazing in all directions, and good to have a few guard pups at the Speakeasy door! We hit the Speakeasy at 10:00...crawled into bed at 3:00 a.m. Angel's Envy and Buff Trace dangerously low!

And Jax, @TTViper Paul's Belgian Mal, fitting right in and showing his climbing skills off! 11 years old and acts like a puppy, amazing dog!

When we rolled out to brunch, I was feeling "ok"...until Bob wanted to show the girls what the Cybertruck Foundation could do...hit it from 20-80 in what felt like a millisecond...I had a great laugh at their expense and then a minute later started to sweat behind the ears...I didn't eat much and barely got a bloody down in an hour. Finally recovered by dinner time...

Amazing what a bottle of Angel's Envy can do to a couple of guys in an evening...great times!

Working on a solution to my tendency to rip off rear sway bars…after some contemplation, I think my main problem is with the length of the rear bump stops. I noticed that after it broke (both HD links at the weld for the stud at the sway ends) and was removed on the trail, that my rear stuffs way further in the wells and rubs much easier on the inner fenders on most obstacles. I like the heavy Whiteline bar, but I think the bar is holding too much flex where the bump stops should be taking some weight on the harder obstacles. I have extended stops now, but I’m going to try a new approach.

Ordered the Perry Parts rear bumps with a stiffening insert and a couple of extension pucks that are actually trail adjustable in 1” increments. I also went with the @landtank rear HD link setup this time. Keeping the Whiteline (another fresh one on the way) as I really like the on and off road stability that it gives. I’m thinking the new to me link parts will add just a bit more flexibility too over the last sets with a heim joint up top.

Now I just need another trip this fall to install everything and try it out! Also planning on having the 5 speed installed by early fall as well.

Newest batch is made for the new bushings that are supplied with new Whiteline 3552 bushings. I can supply printed bushings for either if needed, I am not sure how long it will be until Whiteline will be able to supply them. They are printed in TPU 95a hardness and is very tough Older batch...

I got some long overdue work done on my 80. I hit a bump the other day and got some wicked death wobble. I had a set of 555 rod/steering ends on the shelf so I swapped them in. I also got another Magnaflow Y pipe and installed it to take care of several exhaust leaks. This one was on for 12 years. I must have cross threaded one of the manifold studs as it came out with the nut. I'll have to track down those part numbers and pay too much for them from the local stealership.

Well some of you saw I snagged another 80 yesterday. It's a 94, small lift, some dry rotted 33's, some much needed body work to the left front and absolutely filthy lol. But it runs drives and stops.

Spent a good portion of today with the pressure washer and the vacuum and I'm pretty darn pleased with the purchase. Also removed the running boards and the very rusty rear hitch. The frame is surprising clean which is also a bonus.

Needs a bunch of exhaust work and some general TLC, but I'll be taking it up to the shop to get the front end sorted out and panels lined up again
