Holy Cow, Rob!

Is the new one blue? I love that color!

Are the rims on this truck as nice as they look in the photo? If so, I'd be interested. My daughter's '94 could do with a nicer set.
Just another green one. The rims/wheels look to be ok, I have not really looked it over yet, just got it home today. I do and will have other nice wheels for sale. Does she need tires? I have the wheels on the burgandy one that I am going with a larger tire and it has nice stock tires on it.

I may have to have a "pick and pull" day down at the shop so people can come get what they need off these things. I sold the 97 CE, I am building the 94 Wildflower burgandy one, building the 93 triple locked one to sell to a customer and will have 3 to part out! Two green, one with tan leather and the other with grey, and a moonglow one with grey cloth.

They keep showing up, all this rain they are multiplying!

Installed the update trailer plug on tundra today and the LX went to a new home today

It's not the rain- you're leaving them in the dark unsupervised

Trailered the 40 rolling chassis across New Mexico today for a visit to the chiropractor aka Harold’s Body Repair in Albuquerque. They have a good rep and are willing to work on old cars unlike most collision centers.

Picked up a Puma with the intent of building something like the ARB portable compressors. Goal was to be fast like the ARB twin compressor but cost the same or less than the ARB single portable compressor. With two cruisers I wanted something quick and easy to transport all the onboard air stuff between the two trucks.

I wasn’t wed to keeping the tank if it didn’t fit in the Pelican since I’m only using it for tires. I have the tank if my plans change in the future and it was more cost effective to buy the pd1006 than just the compressor. I happened to have the Pelican laying and they’re fairly cheap used.

I have to address a small leak at the pressure switch. I messed up the original copper tubing and the cheap tubing bender I bought was crap. Last step is designing a mount for the manifold/pressure switch/regulator and having it laser cut by Send Cut Send.

Even with the leak it was still damn fast. Two 33s in under 5 mins. 15 psi to 40 psi.

Most people will think this is overkill but the alternative for me was buying the twin kit....plus I was bored 😂. The Puma as is is amazing though.

If anyone wants more details let me know.

Cousin got a 80 this week. Swung by to see what I thought. He's got a check engine for p0401 which on my reader mentioned exhaust reflow leak or so and see that it's related to an EGR issue from checking online.

His exhaust is rusty and leaking just before the cats. Would just replacing exhaust help fix this issue?

I was able to clear the code, drive around and see EGR status change to ready. In the short drive I did with it, one of the reading for o2 and the cat did not change to ready though.

It may not clear the code but it should be fixed. That’s where I would start.

Magnaflow makes a nice bolt in y-pipe and first cat combo. They also sell the second cat if you want to bolt it all back up to the OEM exhaust from there back. If he's going to wheel it though the better option is to go from the first cat up and over the frame instead of under. But you'll need to find a shop to build custom or go with Ryan's SS 80 exhaust if you want to bolt something up.

Small stuff but was tinkering on Saturday, wired in a usb for the head unit for use of the apple CarPlay and replace one of the cig outlets with a dual usb/voltmeter. after all you can never have to many usb’s

picked up a set of 20’s for it on the cheap but haven’t installed yet. Pics to come

dropped it off to my buddy over at Toyota this morning to have the first transmission drain and fill done, over the course of the next 15,000 miles we will do about 3-4 more not to shock the system with all new fluid at once

Does anyone have a recommendation for free or reasonably priced CAD software?

I like to experiment on some projects and use SendCutSend to cut/bend

You don't need CAD software for SCS since it's only 2D laser cutting. You should be able to generate compatible files with Inkscape.

(I don't have any experience with SCS, so no guarantees...)

Let me know if you need any parts for it, I might know where some are....just sayin!

Guy here on MUD makes a EGR test plug kit that takes care of that issue. ~$40
