Hi My powersteering is leaking by the pitman arm. is there i guide how to fix it, or perhaps some one can tell my how to repair it, please

Hi My powersteering is leaking by the pitman arm. is there i guide how to fix it, or perhaps some one can tell my how to repair it, please

HI to explain in words are hard, but i can try,first of all, dismental it out from the vehicle, then clean it nicely,split the pigmen arm,centre the segment shaft,undo the12mm bolts,losen adjusting locknut 17mm,with a plan screw driver turn closkwise to split the top cover off,pull the segment shaft upward,undo the side big lock nut & turn counterclock wise-out,once the thread is out pullgently all the way. now u only change the oil seal & bottom seal. do not touch the bearing worm gear if you are not familiar with it. then clean every parts with solven ,or any cleaning liquid.then after changing those seals make sure lube them with 80-90w gear oil, & installed them back in reverse manner.becareful not to cuts any telfron seal during installation,round all sharp edges if u c them,especially the worm hydralic ring telfron seal. good luck & take your time to do it.
