I still have the very first, a basketball sized dent on the passanger rear quarter, and all in between:grinpimp:wouldn't want to be confused with a mall cruiser!

I still don't know who that guy was that was spotting. I have the whole thing on video. "hard driver, hard driver" then I fall off the ledge! I think it was those dinky tires!! Forgot how small they look compaired to the new MTR's. Justin did a heck of a job on the body chop. They gave me almost another 1.75 inches. Those BF's were short.

Luckily that was pretty much the only damage there, that and the rear bumper on the waterfall. I've since lost both of the silver plastic clip ons on both sides of the rear bumper. It actually doesn't look that bad! Waiting on the custom steel bumper from Justin as well.

I removed both of mine after one was accidentaly knocked off. I put it back and realized that it looked better without them. I don't know why the even bothered to put them there to begin with.

may also be heading back soon. the judge in mcullah county gave me 60 days deffered adjudication and only charged me for court cost for the 95mph ticket i got right outside of town. he for sure hooked me up as he essentially dismissed the ticket.

he knows the owner, and invited me down to go hunting. when i get a date, i will forward it on to whoever wants to join. always good to know a judge, espesially one that spent 2 hours on the phone with me shooting the crap!:clap:

I just considered it a game. :steer: Someone usually would let me know on the radio or just pick it up off the trail behind me. I'd stick it back on and see how long it would take before it came off again.

I have Demello steel back there now and I'm pretty sure nothing is coming off. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.:hillbilly:

that is something i would do, the game part. entertaining to a few...but most importantly to the person playing the game:clap::clap:

im a big proponent of supporting local shops and their work. We have a guy locally that does a tremedous job on all sorts of mods for the FJ. But tell me more about the Demello steel. What did it cost and does it have to be shipped or can it be picked up locally at a 4x4 shop. Is it tube, or solid? how much does it weigh? not that the weight really matters, i don't think i could really get less mpg's but do like the fact of having something a little more stable back there.

Our guy locally has made the steel bumper and intigrated the sensors in the back for backing up. i don't use it that often cause i am a man and know how to drive but still nice to have if you are backing up to a aston martin!!!

I'm also looking for a good skid plate. I don't want to spend an arm and leg for something that is gonna take a beating and just cost more because of a metaltech logo on it.

Demello makes some great stuff, I love my front bumper, I can't wait to add the rear to match.

As far as skids, you can't go wrong with Bud Built's stuff but it has to be ordered. I don't know of anything that can be picked up here in Texas...

i like that rear wrap...i wonder how strong those lights in the back are though.
