Alright folks! August 23-25 we are hosting Bay to Blue Ridge for a weekend of wheeling and camping. We will be camping out on the usual creek property, and when we get closer to the date I’ll make sure everyone has the specific location. Jesse King will be the POC for this event, and I’ll be helping him as needed.
Even if you don’t want to do Potts, you are more than welcome and encouraged to still come and camp. There are plenty of cool FSRs/routes in the area that others can do if they so choose. If we have enough interest we can put a crew together to do Broad Run and other easy routes.
Just trying to gauge interest in things such as a group dinner Saturday night and raffle. Our last meeting we had a successful raffle, giving away two ARB recovery kits as well as growing the club slush fund. Things like this will help us grow to help give away cooler and bigger prizes. 50/50 raffle? Raffle off an actual piece of equipment/item? Let’s hear it.
If you want to float in the creek by all means, we are right on the water with a decent swimming hole right there. I’ll have a paddle board out for it!
