Posting to the forum (1 Viewer)

Hello - I'm new to posting but am getting my FJ materials together to go up. I read one of the User Guide threads recommended keep all conversations with potential buyers on the Forum. Does that mean that all exchanges between me and potential buyers are visible to everyone? How is posting to the Forum different from "conversations". At what point do you recommend sharing emails to be able to discuss a transaction privately? Thanks for your guidance!

Conversations are private between you and whomever else you are conversing with. Threads are public, Conversations are private. This thread is public.

You can choose to do whatever you want. Scammers are notorious for taking sales/purchase discussions to their own email/phone. It's simply a warning you can chose to ignore.

They are usually immediate....tho, posting Classifieds in Tech usually just means they get deleted.

It would be worth RE reading the User Guide yet again, paying close attention to the Classifieds notations.
