After about 4 weeks on the Radflos I absolutely love them. They actually softened up a bit after 1,000 miles. Thats a good thing for long highway drives. These replaced the Bilsteins that I installed last May which I found too stiff for my taste. (They are available if anyone is interested)

I got the truck aligned at Toyota and I can still see that the truck is running Positive Camber. Toyota would not supply after alignment specs. They have been impossible to work with. They also replaced the KDSS Central unit because the valves were rusted shut and someone broke a hex wrench in there. $1,700 job covered my extended warranty but that another story for another time. It wasn't an easy fight.

I have the Radflos set to the lowest setting. Do you think UCAs like the ones Slee is selling or Total Chaos are a requirement. Radflo said I'd experience a 1.5 inch lift over stock. It's more than that. I dont have stock measurement to compare to, just how much farther I have to climb up into the truck. I have not run across anyone WITHOUT a UCA upgrade who installed Radflos. Seems like everyone goes for it all.

I'm replacing a torn inner CV Boot, replacing a bunch of swaybar bushings( to fix a rattle) and installing the Tundra Brake upgrade from Brian Jowett bjowett, so I will have the front end pretty well apart.

Ever since installing the Bilsteins I have had three alignments and no one can seem to get it right NOR do they say anything. I think I have answered my own question but I want to hear from the community.

I'm of the opinion now that I will spend anything to get this thing to the "perfect" ride. Theres just no manual for that and everyone's perfect is different.

What say the Mud. Are UCA a requirment with any lift?

I'd def recommend it.

1) Go to a locally trusted alignment guy and get it aligned with printed out specs. Why they won't provide you with a print out of before/after is beyond me. it's like the nurse taking your blood pressure and telling you it's a secret.

2) Back to stock range caster adjustment is huge w/ aftermarket UCAs. My caster lifted 2.5" is around 3.4deg. Camber was dialed out which the stock uca handled just fine. It's a noticeable change in go-forward drive quality at any speed. It's much more planted than before the adjustment which topped out at 1.x pre-SPC UCA.

Without the alignment values, you're flying without radar man. gl

For sure get the TC UCA's, huge difference from stck (so i am told) i have mine set the same as yours (lowest/minimum lift); see my other thread re height difference.

I ran my Radflos (+2") for about 6 months without the UCAs. UCAs are not required. If you do install TC or LR UCAs, you will be able to get the factory alignment specs. That means even tire wear & OEM steering feel.

Akin to saying you don't need underwear to wear jeans but def preferable for a number of reasons.
