Thanks It was a .99 cent win off ebay with Free Shipping.
I made the mount and it has worked OK for sun.

I found that Dunhams Sports sells a RED 8 x 8 E-Z up canopy.
I will be getting one for the fall.

Great job. With a good bag I don't see you having any problems with the cold. Especially if you line the floor between the tent and expanded metal.

How does it hold up in the wind? Noisy from being anchored to the steel corner anchors?

No noise problems and with a pad it is comfy.
Now hat it is cooler it is time to camp more.

That's pretty cool but now the first round of RTTs are starting to show up on the second hand market.
I was thinking of selling mine at some point to upgrade to something else and would consider doing so for $170 or less.
