Today, while sitting at an intersection, I stabbed the throttle (about 40% throttle) just for fun. RPMs went up to about 1100, then dropped to about 400, then up to 600, then down to 400 and cycled between 600 and 400 rpm 7 times.
After a few blocks the CEL lit up. The Scangauge showed codes PO130 and PO133. From the manual PO130 is: Heated Oxygen Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1), and PO133 is Heated Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1).
The response I would expect to hear is: you need new o2 sensors, but both mine are new (less than 2000kms).
I dont understand what could cause the throbbing idle. Any thoughts? Is it possible that the first o2 sensor has gone bad already?
