Physical signs of 1HD-FTE injector failure?

Gday guys, more questions about the 1HD-FTE....

I've got a 2005 1HD-FTE (550k kms). While tracing back a subtle pinging noise around the injector pump/intake manifold, I noticed 1 of the 6 injector lines doesn't create a "tap" feeling like the other 5? 5 of them give a distinctive "tapping' feeling at idle when you place a finger on them. Like someone is tapping on the end of the injector with a wooden object and you can feel it through the injector line (for lack of better description. But one of them doesn't have that "tap". It produces a more smoother feeling/vibration. Is that most likely a dead injector or the pump playing up do you think?

To know more you'd need to pull them and get them tested. It's pretty quick and cheap to do.

A leaking injector will be a bit smokey.

Yeah ok, no smoke so that's good! I'll certainly have the injectors tested but there's a 3 week wait for my mechanic ATM so thought I'd just ask out of curiosity for learning sake.
