Long time lurker... now trying to pull the trigger
Hey guys, so I have been looking around at fjz80's and today I went out to see a few that I am interested in. My father worked for Toyota for 35 years...so I grew up around these things in dealerships and such. I had no doubt in my mind I would fit in one...but guess what...I didn't...not well at least.
I am 6'4 and about 280. The problem for me was completely leg room; I mean my knees where at the dash and it was HARD to even get into the drives seat. I had to really work my right leg under the steering wheel to fit. After I was in it seemed fine; just leg room is quite...eh. I was surprised by this because so many tall guys have these and just say they have so much room. All I can think of is I am all legs...which is true X.X
I have heard about a few different mods that can add 2-4 inches of leg room. Clearly I do not want to buy a cruiser try the mod and then find one it still just isn't working for me. is there ANYONE in Washington state that has an fjz80/lx450 with one of these mods done? I will buy you a frickin beer...a frickin case of beer to let me drive out and sit in your cruiser please help meeee.
also on another note, I have heard cruisers with cloth seats have more room? because lack of the electric power leather stuff? I don't know if thats true but a confirmation would be awesome.
