Pearl River Entrances?

hey guys,
I don't post a whole lot on here, mainly lurk. Well, I finally installed my freshly regeared rear 3rd in my Tacoma and I'm trying to break it in properly. Well, I ain't been out to Sylas Brown since HS(6 yrs ago). Anyways, I knew that they'd been doin some road construction over there to widen the bridge, but I didn't know they were closing that entrance to the river there. I ventured further down Sylas Brown and noticed under some railroad tracks there was a TIGHT little dirt road that might possibly lead back there. Anyways, long story short...... How the heck do you get back to the pearl now? I see plenty of trails, just no entrances. I know there's an entrace off HWY 80, but I REALLY didn't wanna bust my oilpan all over those rocks, LOL. Oh yea...I have no clue how to get to the Pearl River.....not my kinda wheeling.

There is an entrance I've never tried but looks promising. If you go through downtown to the end of State street and look to your left right where State st begins to turn west to go on to the freeway, there is a dirt road going off into the river bottom area. I've been wanting to check it out but my truck is disabled for a little while longer. Let us know what you find out.
