Just picked up this '69, very excited to have a survivor. Working on getting the extra bolt on crap off of her, that hideous top was off within about 10 minutes of having home. View attachment 1684527 View attachment 1684528 View attachment 1684533

I've been working on this survivor a lot the last couple of months...
New OEM shocks
New brake pads, master and soft lines, turned the drums (this brake job almost made me sell it)
Rebuilt starter
Rebuilt alternator
New clutch master, slave and soft line
Radiator all gone through
New heater core, rebuilt heater box
All new heater and coolant hoses
New @Racer65 SS hose clamps (Damn fine)
New exhaust with OE muffler
Changed all fluids
Recovered seats
Cleaned up electrical, new front terminals
New floor light dimmer
Tune up (plugs, wires etc.)
Rebuilt carb (Thanks @65swb45 )
New tires (original spare is off my '73)
New water pump
New fuel tank
New fuel pump
New fuel filter

This thing runs like a top. Can't believe it sat for 25 years... Working on windsheild wiper motor, horn and need to figure out why the 4wd light isn't working. Been the most fun I've had working on a Cruiser.

Not mine (yet) but one our club members. It’s a 2 owner unrestored original FST. I think it’s 72’ if I remember correctly.

Will you be putting a rollbar in there? I've got a 71, same color as yours. Unfortuantly I'm having trouble fitting the roll bar and the long jump seats in mine.

No rollbar in this one. Trying to keep it as original as possible, just will be putting around town or maybe a mild dirt/gravel road.
My Dad made some brackets for our '73 to fit the long jump seats with a cage, nothing fancy. I'll PM you a picture.
