so i need to order a carb rebuild kit in the very near future... aircare is coming up :frown:

my problem is finding one to be shipped up here, i've had a look at CCOT and found out that you need to make a 150$ USD order before they'll ship to Canada. Man-A-Fre has a pretty complicated shipping system that requires either a signature upon delivery (not possible) or a faxed "no-signature" form plus a credit card authorization form with your credit card and drivers license blah blah blah blah...

the main problem is i only really deal with cash and debit, don't have a credit card. in the past i've been able to get away with just using paypal with my debit, but i'm not so sure it'll fly with either of those 2 suppliers. what have you guys had luck with?

any chance EBI, G+S, LCI etc. carry these kits? its for a 7/73 aisin if it helps... any advice you guys can give me will help. thanks in advance

i know a few guys at the maple ridge T+T, they don't stock rebuild kits for mine :( i'm waiting on a reply from 4wheelparts, no sign of a carb kit on their website. i really should have been on this before the long weekend

Gasser stuff...at G&S :D

Steve would be your best bet. If he can't help, phone Rob after the weekend and see if he can get a kit in for you...

thanks Greg... i'm hesitant to phone Steve on a long weekend, i thought i read he was away wheeling... is the phone line for EBI dedicated now or is it the same as the houseline? i seem to remember waking his family up one morning

can you guys post up Rob's number?

Shop line is 604-944-0382 and has been a dedicated shop only line since about 1997/1998
house line is 944-0385 since 1995

I stock the carb kits from 1/75 to the mid 80's
You should be able to get a kit local for yours anyways

local supplier price for a kit is $32 to $33 depending on the carb#
my kits are $24 each for the ones I stock.
I show two different part numbers for your carb as well, 04211-60143 and 04211-60145

get me the number off the carb just incase it was ever swapped

hey Steve, just phoned you up on the way home for lunch, left my number for a call back... i guess i'll hear from you shortly. i'm not sure exactly where to look for the part number of the carb? in any event i can't stray too far from the phone so hopefully we'll figure this out. if not, i'll call back or reply here again after lunch when i've had a chance to look it up. thanks

call me when your home, I called you back but no answer
I'll be working until 8 or 9 tonight for sure
We've been chopping up several thousand dollars worth of aluminum body parts and I want to make sure I'm there to measure, mark and check
