Complete 1985 FJ60 in SF Bay Area; Still running, Would need smog for DD

I don't use my 60 nearly as much as I used to and don't want to deal with smoging to sell. I would prefer to sell it whole vs. part it out and don't really want send it to the crusher if someone has use for it. Would also prefer local transactions. Here are basic stats:

Approx. 212K miles, still runs good.
Has pin hole in top of radiator
Dark grey exterior/Grey interior, driver's seat worn
All stock
Less than 3K on BFG 31x10.5R15
Full safari rack (will separate for right price)
Cracked windshield
Body straight with a few little dings
Clearcoat peeling from hood (and possible roof)
New catalytic converter in Jan 2005

Pictures will be posted soon.

Send an email to tf0739@gmail.com if interested.

Located in the east bay near Oakland.

Thanks, Tim

If yo do end up parting it I would be interested in the dash if it is uncracked as well as the visors if they are not warped. Let me know. Thanks!

Sell it whole!

You don't need to smog to sell, as long as the buyer agrees to buy "as is". If you let them worry about the smog nightmare, you can give a substantial discount. Offer it up cheap but complete, and someone will want it. Unfortunately not me, I just bought Cruiser #4.

I could not agree more.

Parting out is such a pain.

Send a PM to OrangeFj45 if you want to sell it whole.

I hear ya! but felt that since I was going the "as is" route, better to post in the whole rig parts section.

fj sale

In Calif, if the vehicle will be sold "as is." Be sure to write up a statement to that effect and have the buyer sign and date it for your records.

Also NEVER forget to send in or web submit a release of liability... or your asking for serious possible misery down the road. (i know)

Are you gonna part it or not?
