Pardoe Trail Sep. 2nd&3nd

P.M. me if you want to meet up for this "easy" run and camping.
Anybody have good directions to this trail head? Good place to get gas/air up? Good place to camp? Thanks

Well Dan (drohweder) and I just got back from two days of beautiful scenery and some cruiser comraderie. The rock gardens where nice also. Niether of us have been to this trail so it was adventure trying to find our way to camp before the sun went down. Unfortunatly the sun did go down to soon and we where still wheeling. It would not have been so bad except Dans headlights where on the blink. So Dan navigated through dusty trails that he had never driven with nothing more than his eagle eyes. After a while he had to use a flashlight to help navigate in the darkness. The next morning we figured out his headlight problem with some squinting at the wiring diagram and scratching our heads. We had a great time on the trail and around the camp fire. Dan can cook some mean camp grub! We suffered no disabling damage on the trail but we learned of some off the trail. But I will let Dan tell that story in the tech section. Doh!

we had the 45 run up there this weekend; had a great time.

I'd like to do another run up there after the first rain. I like the upper rock garden section. It has fun little obstacles and beautiful scenery. I don't have weekends off so trying to get a run together during the week is a challenge.
