I have an 2002 xterra 4x4 I painted the plastic trim flat black with a shaker can and came out great .it only lasted a year if that I put 3 coats on. Then some 16 year old back in to the passengers side and the shop I took it too repainted half and half is worn ,it looks funky.I heard that the spray bedliner works on plastic? Is it true? What kinda prep is involved in it? I don't really no Jack about painting so any help would be nice. Thanks

yes, you can paint the plastic with bedliner material. be sure to use a cleaning solvent that is safe for plastics to remove any oils/foreign contaminants 1st. they should have something at the parts store (Napa, Autozone, etc)
