Has anyone completed this wiring corectly, I have read both the painless and have the factory wiring diagram and have hooked everything corectly (I think) my rig will start and idle fine, all of my accessory things are working, however my battery is draining every night and I have week volts to the plus side of the coil. This is where my lack of throttle cam from. I placed a jumper from the battery to the positive side of the coil and OH MY GOD, The motor smoothed out and is running better that ever. I must have a draw somewhere I shouldn't. Any Ideas

The painless system does have diagrams or directions. I have a 72 fj 40 with a column, motor and trans out of a 86 60. I have been using the OEM factory wiriing diagrams in conjuction with the painless stuff. the motor runs great only when I have a jumper wire to the positive side of the coil. I am not to sure where or how to get better power to the coil. the voltage at the colmum and the voltage at the coil seem to be the same or close, however it does not seem to have enough to properly power it. Does anyone know what kind of voltage I should need to properly power a factory coil? the ACC wire for the cig. lighter has higher voltage and powers the coil ok but is not keyed corectly in the ignition swithch, once the moter is started I can not shut it off with the acc wire or the jumper wire from the battery for that matter.

Thank you for any help
