Happy Birthday, Paul and Simon!:bounce2: :bounce:

Wait.....Paul Simon?

Everyone sing along: "Hello darkness my old friend......."

Sorry, I'm a little bored.

OK, as you were.:o

Awe - for a second there I thought you were organizing a SoCal80's cook off! PabloVTA represented himself so well in the sand chef competition that I thought mayby 95eighty had challenged him and we were all going to enjoy the fruits of their cooking!

A no-holds-barred cage-match cookout to the death?

I like it!

Maybe Hot_Eighty_Chick can hold up the cards between rounds.

The secret ingredients can be parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme!

Yeah.... we're working on it.
It got put on the backburner because of that Baja 1000 race.
As soon as that craziness settles down, it's on!! :D

Another in need of a rear bumper. :D

Also I will keep an eye out for you guys in Ensenada. I will be down Wed am/noon and will be going through contingency with #149 Black Elite Motorsports buggy. No cruiser though, better prepped chase trucks won out. I will buy you a Pacifico or two if I see you.

HEY THANKS GUYS!
turned the big 39 yesterday.

got my hoodie from Jim in the mail and the mud birthday greeting as well.

now if I can just get my new sliders painted up this week, i'll be good.

as for the socal chef to the death, I'm all in!
let's hook up a night where we can grill and play some hold'em, or you know what?
I'd love for a tech roundup. Something like a seminar where we can take a rig, and go over all the little things that have been issues, but guys fixed them in little ways and might never had told anyone about. I had a Porsche in my driveway for a year, and I kept getting tech bulletins from Devek up in the bay area for the 928 and they'd have dyno days and seminars every so often.

I know that's what MUD is for, but i think it'd be great to have it in person, on a saturday at someone's garage, or a park in SoCal. Grills going, and casual.

I volunteer Ventura, but maybe we should move it down to Redondo or Marina Del Rey so the real so cal's can come too. Something maybe more technical than just looking at a truck and asking to see your crago set up, but not too technical that I'd need to take too many notes either. If we could get some of the master techs involved, possibly film it for a dvd even? I think it would be a good way to create some funds for the group and use it for a MOAB fund even?

P.S. I just got a turkey fryer. I'm thinkinig a huge Mardi Gras crawfish feed should be planned too.

Thanks again! see you all soon I hope.
