Thats a ways south for our group. I have run some trails with the guys from Green Country Cruisers down there and I know the Razorback guys used to have runs through that area also. I would say you best bet might be the TTORa forum as there are a bunch of arkansas guys down in that part of the woods. I do know that the forest service closed a bunch of roads back a few years ago.

Cool. I appreciate the direction. I believe they reopened quite a few roads in the last year or so from what i understand. Figured I'd take a shot in the dark asking on mud first as we seem to have some of the more reliable folks around here.

That road is part of the Winona Auto Tour (info).
It's one of the main roads, and is actually in better shape than most of the highway's around here.
I'd suggest sticking to the Auto Tour route, because that's all there really is to see by vehicle. The rest of the forest in that area is dead end logging access roads, or miles of recently logged forest.
If you want to get out on foot for a bit, you can hike parts of the Ouachita Trail. It travels east/west just a few clicks above the road you have highlighted on that map.
