Thank you !!Look in the Clubhouses and post there! The clubs already exist, you just need to find them!

I've actually found the truck and owner ( I think !) On the North America clubhouse. It looks like a member on here (Grumpy Troll) owned it last year but I'm not getting any response from him yet!! If you use the @ symbol in front of their "handle" it will alert them that someone used their name.
If you sent him a PM (private message), then he will respond as he sees fit.
It is not uncommon to find the person's info on a truck you buy here. This is such a "small" group and we are all very dedicated to these trucks that is becomes easy to track.
How about some pics of the truck?
@Grumpy Troll
Hey all - I've received a few e-mail alerts which went into my spam so my apologies for not getting back to you sooner I'll respond here as sending invidual PM's would just be repetitive, however if you'd rather PM then so be it.
@Grumpy Troll when you decided to let it go did it pass the provincial safety inspection?
Was the engine & tranny all good ? Thanks
I bought a 96 fzj80 from a dealer in MTL - there was a bit of hagling on price however I had my heart set on it and drove it back to ottawa the same day. it handled like a champ for the 2 hour drive back on the highway. Once back in Ottawa I quickly found out it wouldn't pass safety (small rust hole in the radiator support arm of the frame) wipers and lights and a few other minor issues. I was able to work with a local shop to get the truck back up to snuff to pass safety and then tackle a few other things
- new hood (original was rusted)
- rear locker wouldn't engage
- e-brake didn't work (was just disconnected for some reason)
- new wiper motor front and rear
- windows were very slow to open even slower to close
- exhaust system was in bad shape (brand new exhaust was put in but there was still a leak)
- driver rear cargo window has a fair bit of rust (I understand this is common) not noticeable till you take the plastic trim off.
that's as much as I remember and it was really hard for me to give this rig up - still kicking myself over it but I just couldn't put anymore $ or time into it - especially since I wanted it as a daily driver.
