I sat down with Toyota of Olympia today and received a very welcome reception. At this point we have the thumbs up regarding all levels of mangement, we are now waiting on final approval from the owner.

Their concerns are available parking and meeting space, as it stands they could support us until we reach 20-30 members. That should be enough for the first year since the plan is still to alternate the monthly meetings between Olympia & Tacoma.

Anyone open to participating in the new Tundra launch in Feb? Maybe park our rigs at the Sportsman Warehouse in Lacey and brag about Toyota 4x4's for a couple hours?

I will post a draft copy of the By-Law template this weekend so we can start the tuning process together online. This should keep our next meeting sometime in early Feb from running too long and hopefully allow for a fairly quick confirmation & vote.

Is this going to be a fully organised TLCA chapter? What are the meeting details? There used to be a chapter down this way but it fell apart a few years ago. I would be interested.

Glad to hear Toyota of Olympia is interested. Now we just need to work on parts discounts :). The owner is starting to build up his Yellow FJC and is interested in carrying lots of accessories for your rig.

That is what I am shooting for a fully organized chapter as the closest two are either Bellevue or Portland, which doesn't leave too much room for hands on participation and support. WELCOME!

SECOND draft of SSC bylaw's...

Please download, review, and prepare to work through finalizing this document for submittal to TLCA after our February meeting.

I confirmed with 4WheelParts in Tacoma today about using their place for meetings. He told me once we are official and can provide him a letter stating so his approval process to rent tables, buy dinner and refreshments only takes 3-5 days. A week or two notice and we're in! :bounce2:

He also mentioned that club members attending the meeting will get a discount on everything in the store for one hour after the meeting! :bounce:

Saving up for my winch... :D

Wow, looks good! Did you spend a lot of time on that or what?

That reminds me, I need to give you some money....

If I don't see you Saturday, do you want me to just mail it or drop it by your work?

I'm hoping to collect dues (except Zurn) at our next meeting on the 14th, if you can't make it then we can connect...
