OK OK i know this isnt the right place to post this but.... Last weekend there was a Myrtle Creek Rock Crawl comp in which the jeeps got ate and spit out by a yota and some wicked samurais (see pics in my chief s***ty pants build in the fj40 section). Next weekend there is going to be a Camas Valley first annual 4x4 Playdays in which i have a feeling will be crazy! The guy that is putting it on is named Chuck and he has the camo yota that whipped butt. About 5 years ago I had a sammi that i thought was bad and was talking smack so some guys hooked me up with this Chuck guy to see if i could hang and lets just say i nearly (^*^&ed my pants, tore my locker out and barely made it home in one piece so i have a pretty good idea that Chuck and his friends are going to bring some heat. I know they are having an obstacle course, a grass drags, and i am 92.14% sure a rock crawl. THE LANDCRUISERS NEED SOME REPRESENTATION!!!! Camas Valley is approx. 30 miles west of Interstate Five at Exit 119 on Hwy 42 or if you are coming from the south exit 112 for a short cut. I would be more than happy to answer any questions or give directions if you are interested.

Sorry it was a late night of spraying epoxy primer! I will have exact details for you tomorrow!! There is no if ands or buts it is a for sure thing they advertised at the Myrtle Creek Rock Crawl for it but i forgot the exact time so i will find out tomorrow. Hmm so Newberg thats where MT is...... Sweet that will save me some shipping! I wish i was a bit closer with my build i have to go to Salem in a few weeks for a couple days............ Now i have to do some thinking STARS or MT Both would cost a lot of one dollar bills LOL

It is Aug 2nd and 3rd a two day event. I drove there today and checked it out and they had a pretty dang nice set up. I couldnt see the rocks since i didnt want to snoop on private property to hard but I know for sure now that they are having 4x4 drag races, obstacle course, and timed rock crawl. I have a flier coming tomorrow and will be able to tell you exact start times along with what is on what day

Exact directions are the same as stated before however when you get into Camas Valley it is a VERY VERY small town with a couple roads and right before the store you turn onto Main Camas Road. You will go right by the Camas School and you will come to an intersection and you stay right. Then it will be on your left. Total distance off of Hwy 42 is maybe 1.5 miles

I was right but wrong. It isnt a rock only event.

For the obstacle Course:
"This course will consist of jumps, logs, rocks, and water. All trucks must have a 3 point seat belts, driver helmet, and fire extinguisher in reach of the driver."

It will be a timed event. There will also be drag races for both 4x4's and ATV's It is a two day thing both sat and sun starting at 10am and ending around 4:30 vehicle tech will be from 7-9am.

For the drags:
"This event is for 4 wheel drive trucks only. The course will be 300ft long with 300ft of slow down. All trucks must have 3 point seat belts, a driver helmet, and a fire extinguisher within reach of the driver."

Admission is 5.00 and each event to participate is 25.00 Oh and children under 10 and Seniors are 3.00
