Ordering New, Please help me decide interior!!!

Like the title says, I am getting ready to order a 2021 Land Cruiser in Grey exterior and am VERY torn as to which interior color to go with. Looking for some guidance. (I know color is very personal but seeing what the overall consensus is with Grey exterior)

I am looking at the exact color also. I have a white with the Terra interior and while I do like the color of the seats, the headliner in black does close it in, substantially more than my white 2015 in tan. The A pillars being dark seem to set off the enclosed feeling. My next steps are to sit in a black interior and see how the light grey A pillars and headliners feel and look. Not sure I want the black rear seats tho...

Configurator has only black and terra. I guess terra is better weird mix though With grey. Headliner looks grey no matter what. I thought there would be a grey seat option

There’s something about the brown (Terra) that seems Unique. My next one will have it. Black is what I have now and only complaint is it’s hot. But the seat cooler helps.

You won’t find consensus on anything as subjective as color. I would only note that from the front seats forward the terra and black are the same interior and you’re sitting on the seats so you can’t see them! Therefore, as you’re going down the road, the interior color doesn’t matter. Pick which color you want to see as you get in. And make sure it’s the terra since it’s best.

Edit: From posts below, it looks like the headliner is different in the 2 interiors now. So, it will look different from the seats forward.

Headliner is grey on the base and black on the HE, if I understand correctly.

terra, but I've never been a fan of black interiors.. One day I'll have 1 with terra, for now I have settled with tan.

If you get Terra you get black headliner , You get black you get grey headliner , wonder if you are ordering can you order black with black headliner .
My 2017 had Terra with that configuration and my 2019 has Black with grey headliner and I am not a big fan it can get dirty fast .

I have nothing to add other than I feel you pain. I went through this decision process a couple months ago and came to the conclusion: 1) at this price point there should be more interior options & 2) This vehicle can take me pretty much anywhere except the moon, and that’s really what I’m buying, so I’ll settle for black. I currently drive a vehicle with a super light interior and a giant sunroof and I love it, going dark will be a big adjustment. With the amount I’m spending on this LC if I can’t live with the black I could toss another couple grand at a upholstery shop but hopefully I’ll be too busy looking out the windows at the cool places I can go now instead.

we chose the heritage edition so it’s all black except the exterior.

I ended up ordering the Grey Exterior w/ Black interior today! My deciding factor was I am coming from a 200 currently with Grey interior that has worn like steel, and my wife’s almost new Lexus has Terra and with 50k on the clock doesn’t look great. (They might not be the same leather but I wasn’t going to risk it after I was informed it would be the same as the Lexus)
