Order My FJ Cruiser

I've been wanting a TLC for years and the time has finally arrived.

I went to the local dealer and the FJ 's were loaded with all sort of extras that I didn't want. After talking to Vince (the salesman) I found out I could order the FJ but it would take 4 to 6 weeks before I would get it. I wanted a six speed and the local dealer only seemed to have automatics. So, a week ago I ordered a sliver FJ with a six speed and it should be here by the middle of May. ;p

The first thing that will go is the stock tires.

I'll have about 4K to play with after I buy the tires. Any recommendations on what aftermarket items I should install? THis is my first off road TOY.

Order an Old Man Emu (OME) lift kit for it. Also order an ARB front bumper and a winch. (Threads on both can be found in this section of MUD.)

I hope you ordered it with Toyota rock rails...if not, you'll need some custom made sliders.

you could always just get some rails from trdsource.com for 100 or so less than your dealer - install yourself.
