Online status privacy not working (1 Viewer)

With the upgrade from today, I see there is a new green triangle -very neat- in the top left corner of a user that shows the user's online status. In my privacy, I have "Show your online status" unchecked, but it still shows I am online to the GA. Any way to tie this button to the new green triangle so that the online privacy is respected?

The triangle IS tied...it appears online to YOU (since you know you are on/offline) versus what it appears to other users.
