I've owned over 40 different vehicles and the two that stick out in my mind with the coldest AC were my 2012 FJC and my 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero. All of my Ford's had average AC as well as my RAM's. I don't recall any of the Jeep's being all that spectacular in the cooling department but they certainly got hot very easily lol.

I hate those screens and my LC is the first car I've owned that has this. I actually think it makes safety worse as I start my drive ticked off rather than waiting for traffic to tick me off LOL.
But my guess is you're right. I asked the dealer who sold my my LC about this. But they connected their laptop computer to my then new LC and actually tried to find a setting to disable or at least shorten the duration of those screens while I waited and watched. The mechanic couldn't find anything and said that all they can (or are allowed to?) do is within their program's settings. But I give them credit for actually listening and trying.
