Ol Blue.....

Ol Blue, our FJ60 got run into. Drivers side. Dude ran a RED light. Towed his Oldsmobile away. I drove home. Doors open and shut. Driver door window is down, ain't broke but won't roll up. I can't get to the bolt holdin the end of the seat belt. Yep I broke part of it off. The floor is buckeld that bad.
I was looking forward to seeing how many miles this unit would go. Was still a very reliable ride with only 209,787 miles...
I will see what his insurace offers. Thankful I got hit by someone with insurance... Maybe I'll get the winder ta werk, or.....
Might be needin anuther D/D.... Always wanted an FJ55. Ain't sure I can fit in a Tacoma.....

I need a good 2f, 60/62 front axle, I could prolly re-arch the springs for the F-Toy build.

Of course you could always tube it and wheel it

Thanky Eric! I might take ya up on that offer. At least I might take the left side/door opening area.

And Mike, I to was glad no one got hurt. The guy that hit me had his wife and grandkids in the car. I look at the Fj60 and think, "Yep! That right there is why I like drivin the larger vehicles." Ain't no way I'd ever ride a motorcycle round town...

Well I had a headache for about 24 hrs. But is is gone now.

I think I got the brake lines figured out. I got the caliper swapped out this morning so t's done. Gonna cut, weld & sleeve up the drag link and tie rod Friday evening then bleed the brakes, set the toe-in and slap some tires on it. Hope to get the camper to the house Saturday to clean load and pack..... and Debi said she didn't wanna be doing all this at the last minute. We got plenty a time

Got a call today $1743.63 and I get to keep the busted up unit. Not as much as I was lookin for. Low retail on NADA is $2100.
Missed a deal on an fj62 with more miles than Ol bLUE AT $2250...
Ain't seen no good deals on FJ55's.
