Alrighty, I haven't met alot of you guys, but I hope to. My wife and I are looking at coming down to Folly Beach first of Sept., and if anyone has any leads on good rentals we'd be more than grateful, and even take ya out for a steak dinner and such!! We will be coming with our 2 labs and so pet friendliness is a must. We'd love to hang out with some of you guys if you have time, and get to know more of our lowcountry UC members. Last year when we were down we happened upon Mooker's house, and I talked to him for a few. Any ways if you have any direction i'd appreciate it greatly!!!

Check VRBO for rentals, its alot cheaper that going thru a rental agency. Folly has new laws about having dogs on the beach but check the folly website for the hours they can be on the beach. my dog isnt happy with the law!

Dangit... Did IOP follow suit, or can you still have 'em out there at any time? I have checked out the VRBO just mainly found like condos and what not, just thought somebody might have some inside connections or something...

check in Edisto for their beach houses...if not set on staying in Charleston...only a bit south but cheaper rates and more liberal policies...plus better shell hunting.

I have been working on a house on first row on IOP (3204 Palm Blvd) (3 BR, 3 BA)that the owners only stay in 4 months a year. The rest of the year it is rented. So far, there is no staying there in Sept. I know that it is dog friendly. I can get you the contact info if this is something you are interested in.

Unfortunatly, there are restrictions for dogs on the beach.
