Hi Everyone – We hope you’re all doing well. Sorry that I forgot to send this reminder email out last week for this week’s work day. This Saturday, May 21st Kyle & Brock will be working with you all to finish up the installation of guardrail on Daniel Trail and if we have enough posts you’ll also finish up the guardrail on Rocky Mt Loop Trail near the dispersed campsite on the westside of Dutch John Road north of the Dutch John Trailhead.
Meet Brock & Kyle at Uwharrie Hunt Camp at 9 am. The guardrail and posts should already be in place so that will make it a lot easier to get in and get started. There will also be trash clean-up. Please make sure to have your work gloves, closed toed shoes, long pants, work shirt, food and water. Hopefully, it’ll be a relatively short work day since the materials are in place already.

BTW, the Lakeview Trail Reroute Construction Contract is out for bids so that project should be starting in a few months.
