I almost bought the 74 custom. There are a lot of nice bits that go with it (350 small block, warn 8274, solid hardtop and bikini, tube doors, rear swing out, 37's) HOWEVER it does not drive well on the road. I almost rolled it a 35mph going straight. There is a massive leak in the front diff and it was too dark to get a good look underneath. I loved it but the fact that it couldn't go straight without swaying side to side scared me.
