OEX Training

The course has been changed to a two day course. Saturday and Sunday(4/30 and 5/1). This makes it simpler to schedule but also makes it more affordable. Also Bruce was kind enough to still stick with his 3 day pricing structure.
If your interested please send me a message via mud or email me.

Thanks,
Bob

-Overland Experts Training-
Off-road driving school. Overland recreational, professional and military training. 4x4 travel. — Overland Experts
We have been working on a "club" rate with Bruce of Overland Experts(OEX). This would be a weekend training, held on a Saturday and Sunday. The training would consist of approach angles, off camber situations and advanced recovery. OEX's overreaching theme is to teach the Science of Off Road and 4x4 driving and Overland travel so that the natural Art and Finesse of the new skill set is in your hands and mind when the going gets rough and the skill is needed in an instant.
OEX also has one of the coolest fleet of imported and well outfitted Toyotas anywhere in the US! 70 series, diesel 80s, Newer Hilux trucks, 60 series and the list goes on. As part of your training you will be able to practice in these vehicles or use your own!
The training course is amazing. First is the purpose made course that is 6 miles of very high density obstacles arranged for optimal training progress with limited down time. The second is a sand valley of over 100 acres of hills, dunes, valleys and rocky cliffs; this well drained area mimics desert driving and they can build what they need in hours. The third is an 1800 acres parcel that has a huge choice of trails, from natural wet lowlands to natural high elevation dry rock , gravel and sand. Lastly they have various private right of ways that follow straight routes through a huge variety of terrains; these trails create very realistic point A to B travel.
If interested please contact me ASAP for pricing and details. Availability is limited.

So how was the training? Was this a valuable time or an expensive day in the woods, just wondering for future reference. :hhmm:

I am going to do a write up in the next few days, things have been busy with coordinating the Spring Meeting.
It was excellent to say the least. I honestly didn't know what to expect, and was worried that I was leading a group of our guys into "an expensive day in the woods". OEX starts from the very basics of how your truck works, and shows you how your truck can leave you in a bad situation by just a turn of the steering wheel.
The recovery stuff was key and I honestly learned alot. I feel more prepared now for certain situations and know that when they present themselves I can go about it in a safe manner.
