Looking for an OEM roll cage.
I did a hack job on my OEM roll cage when I added a front bar and spreaders and rear family bars from Man-A-Fre some years back. Just want to replace it with something decent so it looks and performs well enough to sell the whole rig.
I live in Troy and knew some of you in the old "Mid-Ohio" days. I came over to Cbus for several meetings with Jay and have a dune beige FJ40 (soft top) and had a sweet burgundy/creme FJ55. Didn't wheel much then or since. Heck, the truck's been in the garage for at least 10 years with the last three years becoming a respectful hiding place for the kids Christmas gifts. Anyway, it's been long overdue for me to say "it's gotta go".

I appreciate your input and would be willing to travel 80-90 miles for the right roll cage. Thanks guys. Cheers.

I have a free one from a 1973 FJ 40. Its been wire wheeled and sprayed gloss black.

In my garage, I might be able to drive a little south to meet you.

It has the pads, on the side bars, but no provisions for shoulder belts.

Yours if you want it. If I need to drive it south a bit, I might need some cheap beer. like real cheap.

Let me know I can get some photos if needed.

Im at 48823. East lansing MI.

You have my attention.
I have a step-daughter who's at that school up North at Ann Arbor. Maybe we could work something out when she goes back to school after Thanksgiving; or, I could go up solo Friday or anytime the weekend after Thanksgiving. Cheap beer eh? Could meet at ABC (Ann Arbor Brewing Company) and have a couple of flights???

emailed you back with a few delivery options. I work for the man, and the man said Carmel Indiana this Friday is where the cool kids are hanging out.....

Nice to meet you and thanks for the roll bar. It'll help me out. Enjoy the cold ones. Zetasig is a class act.

Man, I dunno if I'd go THAT far! :hillbilly:

Yeah, I dont know either..... Glad to help out another cruiserhead, and clean my garage out a bit. Maybe the Karma is working. Landed a nice 17inch Steelhead this morning about 45 minutes from the house.

Processed and ready for the broiler tonight.

Thanks for the suds too, will get into those pretty soon.

Still have them Jim, They have exactly 0 more miles on them since I got them from you.....

they are mounted and balanced on some nicer 8 inch steel wheels, I may need them for the wifes 4 runner though....
