So last night I was at the monthly Tempo party which is a big reggae music event at the local Jamaican restaurant. I'd eaten tons of food, smoked plenty of spliff, and about 10pm I'm ready to leave. Only the headlights don't work, and it's dark. The dash board lights do work, markers too, just not the headlights. We'll as soon as I open my Dann hood, a crowd of Rastafarians begins to grow, and they're all apparently expert Bush mechanics. They start shouting out advice in Jamaican Patois which I barely understand on a good day. "I better not make a fool out of myself..." I think to myself.
I pop the hood and go straight for my power probe, clip it to the battery, and power each headlight. (Each time with a roar from the crowd.)
I reach under the dash and tug on the connector.
Power it, using the power probe.
Crowd erupts again, we have light.

Plugged the connector back in, Now I've got headlights and no dash lights, but I know I've got gas, oil pressure, and I'm not overheating or speeding, so I drive home. Lights worked the whole way until I hit the brakes at my driveway.
I suspect I need to clean the switch.

The landcruiser did it's landcruiser thing, and with a basic "shake the dirt out" service it got me home again, and due to having a rudimentary understanding of basic vehicle systems, I was able to have it up and working in about 3 minutes time.
No failed modules, fusable links, or burned out TIPMs like modern trucks, just shake the dirt out and carry on.
