At the meeting we discussed doing a trail ride in Oct instead of a monthly mtg. We are looking at doing a day trip from Caryville up to the sand flats. I had my calendar mixed up last night, so the two dates for consideration are now Oct 6 and Oct 20. Who wants to go and which weekend is preferred?

For me Oct. 6 is out, I've got guard drill that weekend I think. The 20th looks better right now unless drill is a different weekend.

Still trying to figure my schedule out. Mama is on fall break Oct 14-18 and we are taking the girls camping at Cataloochee. Not sure if we are going the first part of the week or at the end of the week. Stay tuned.....

I can pretty much make any weekend work. 6th and 13th are open, for 20th I just have to make sure there are no fall break commitments.

I'm planning to drive my 40. If the weather is nice enough for me to leave off the top Laura and my girls are going to come along. Otherwise, I'll be solo. Looking forward to it!

It's been a couple years since we have been there. STLCA was up there this past weekend and said it was pretty hairy! We are still gonna give it a try though. Hope you can make it.

I was up there last weekend, I run 33s and had no issues it was wet but not super slick, the A/Ts might make it a challenge for you but you should be fine.
