OBD port location

I searched but could not find this. So any assistance will be appreciated. I just pick up a 97 Taco and I want to check codes. Where is the OBD port? I checked the fuse cover and no luck.

in my 3rd gen 99 runner it's to the right of the steering column inside under the dash..white or black I can't recall
