Daniel, I don't mean to single you out but what you posted are perfect examples of our problem.

I assume you did not read the two sticky threads at the top of our forum. It will address your question about the cost to join. If you neglected to read the threads, how many others have also?

The dealership thing has been discussed before. It is also topics for a meeting THAT IS WHY PEOPLE NEED TO COME OUT!! If we cannot maintain a strong following NO dealership is going to take us seriously. Car dealers are not hurting for money, they don't need to support a fledgling club to gain a weak symbiotic relationship. I have done a TON of leg work in that regard for this club but nothing can happen if WE DO NOT HAVE PARTICIPATING MEMBERS. I have to also give Jen a TON of credit for all the work she has also put forth selflessly.

I think the idea for a yearly calender will be a great step forward. That way we might even get a small 4x4 retailer to sponsor a meeting that could bring in business for them.

Ben,

Thanks for putting me out there, but I will tell you the reason why I asked that question. *I asked it to prove a point, *the club is free. *There is no membership fees nor club cost as I know of but what I have read in the regulations. *I believe kevin brought up the point of possibly charging a minimal club fee as it appears that many might feel more invest with a fee, but he also brought forth the idea of including a T-shirt in that cost. *

I understand that you have done much of the leg work for the club, and Jen by what I can tell has put forth much effort to produce a quality club and increase it's size. *

Ben, not to single you out but just the same reasons why you do not attend meetings every month due to being busy with work, family, etc., other members might share a similar time issue.

Your right in order to build a better relationship with dealerships, etc the members need to be more active.

Overall, *when it boils down to it, what does it matter if 50, 20, 10, 5, or 3 show up to the meetings? *Isn't the main objective of this club to enjoy the presence and to build friendships with other Toyota owners? *While everyone wants the club to grow, *if it does not, are you all just gonna give up completely and not continue to enjoy meeting with those that are active? **I personally enjoy *getting out of the house to spend a couple hours with people that enjoy these machines even if there is only 2 other people there.

Thank you Jen for what you do
