Is there anyway to trick, override, default, and/or negate the signal from faulty O2 sensors on Toyotas?
The precat sensors are for engine performance and the postcats are for emissions. So the postcats are the ones in question. In the not so loose emission states, this won't be possible. But what if you have a shot O2 sensor, or a shot cat, or a hulled out cat, or no cat(trail rig). I've seen other makes of autos that their ECUs can be misled into thinking the sensor is there, or good, by placing certain diodes inline with the wiring. Or simply pulling the sensor out of the exhaust stream with a spacer.
Just curious with all this O2 sensor talk.
