This old man was hard core! I saw him today driving on our local freeway! Doing like 30mph! Wagon wheels wobbling all the way. Packed with sleeping bags and gear.. he was goin somewhere! It wasn't restored.. it looked as if he uses it everyday. I purposely pulled over and stood outside the rig and gave him a huge thumbsup as he passed.

I drove behind him as almost to protect him from some of the idiot drivers here. So cool. Man after my own heart.

Is it legal to drive those historic vehicle on the freeway? I mean I seen alot of it around where I live just driven locally but not on the freeway.

I have no clue dude. It's license with a plate so i dont see why not. That route on the 91 is the only way to get through the canyon.. so it's not like has any other way he could go.

That is very cool. IIRC you can't drive more than 15mph under the speed limit or you can get ticketed for going too slow and creating a danger. Not sure how that applies to a vehicle that literally can't go that fast but they banned the pedal assisted mini scooters back in the day because they weren't able to keep up. Of course he is on the 91 so he probably doesn't need to go more than 30 anyway.

I dont know, people these days are a-holes on the road. They used him as a 4 wheeled cone IMHO. I basically drove behind him to protect his arse. People prolly thought i was a chase crew for him in case he broke down
